Arches preschool follows the HighScope Curriculum and COR Advantage Assessment. HighScope uses an "active participatory learning" approach -- a process in which teachers and students are partners in shaping the learning experience. Children make plans and follow through on their interests and intentions. Activities are child initiated and developmentally appropriate. The HighScope Curriculum promotes independence, curiosity, decision making, cooperation, persistence, creativity, and problem solving.

We are determined to create an environment for our students to be confident and beyond ready to start kindergarten. Arches preschool embraces the excitement of learning and uses research-based principles as the key to teaching. It is important to focus on all appropriate development concepts to build a comprehensive experience. Your child will participate in a fun daily routine that develops social skills and interactions that build a solid foundation for meeting future academic challenges. We recognize that children are our future. They will learn from our dedicated and qualified staff in a safe and secure environment while also learning valued Christian principles that are age appropriate for our little learners.
All Arches educators have a true passion for teaching and learning about their students and are state certified and/or licensed. They continually observe and interact with students, asking questions that encourage children to think and express their ideas. Teachers help guide children to find answers through exploration and trial & error.
